Beginning March 1, 2024, Carnegie Math Pathways course materials will be available as Open Educational Resources (OER)
For more than a decade, Carnegie Math Pathways’ trusted, research-based math pathway solutions and its innovative instructional approach have helped students achieve success in gateway mathematics and advance in their education. In March 2024, we’re taking our commitment a step further to make our proven course materials more equitably accessible to students.
High-quality, open educational resources and professional services for mathematics educators
We’re dedicated to ensuring all students have increased access to quality mathematics learning experiences. By making our materials available as OER (licensed CC BY 4.0), we’re eliminating cost as a barrier to access and inviting educators to innovate using our content.
Access to downloadable lessons
In time for academic year 2024-25, our ready-made Quantway and Statway course materials will be available at no cost (as OER) on www.carnegiemathpathways.org for educators to reuse, modify, build upon, and share in support of your students’ learning.
Print versions and access to our powerful platform
We’ve also worked with our publisher and technology partners to be able to offer publisher-printed OER and use of our thoughtfully-designed, adaptive learning platform at low cost (less than $40 each).
We’re also providing professional learning supports to help instructors effectively deliver these courses.
We’re looking forward to broadening access and usage of Carnegie Math Pathways, and to getting your feedback on the experience.
