We are excited to gather in person with our partners at Tribal Colleges and Universities to celebrate our community’s accomplishments and the significant progress we’ve made toward creating more empowering math learning experiences for Native students.
The event will feature:
- NEW: A learning session with Camillus Lopez, senior cultural mentor at Tohono O’odham Community College
- An opening keynote with Dr. Michael Little Crow, lecturer in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Arizona State University
- Community connection and celebration
- Student voices
- Learning opportunities around online instruction, corequisite implementation, alternative assessments, and more!
And don’t forget: Project Success will fund teams of three to attend.

Project Success is funding teams of three to attend the event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. MT on June 17 and ends at 10 a.m. MT on June 19. For information and guidance on preparing for your visit, please review our travel policy for details on arranging your travel, the reimbursement process, and Covid safety measures. Please note that WestEd follows CDC guidance with respect to Covid policies. We will update these policies as information changes.
