Ann Edwards is the Director of the Carnegie Math Pathways. She has over 30 years of experience in mathematics education as a teacher, teacher educator, professional developer, curriculum developer, and mathematics education researcher, and brings a core commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and access to all areas of her work. She has taught mathematics and mathematics education courses in middle and high school, undergraduate and graduate education, and adult education. Ann has a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, in Education in Mathematics, Science and Technology.
Richard-Thomas HaffInstructional System Support AnalystCarnegie Math Pathways
Richard-Thomas Haff provides Help Desk support and analysis in his role as Instructional Support System Analyst with the Carnegie Math Pathways team. Previously, Rich served in multiple roles during his eight years at GENEX/Mitchell, ranging from administrative support to senior-level specialist. Rich also has experience working with student athletes as the head senior coach of the Baldwin Swim Club in Pennsylvania. He earned his B.S. in Applied Mathematics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2013 and is based in Pennsylvania.

Lewis Hosie manages digital content, courseware configuration and functionality, and technology integrations. He leads learning design and development projects and advises on implementation matters. He has a B.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from Strathclyde University, a postgrad cert in English Linguistics from Birmingham City University, and MicroMasters credentials in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Maryland (Global Campus).

Karon Klipple has extensive experience in mathematics program reform and leading research - practice partnerships to improve students' outcomes and experiences in mathematics. She is committed to making mathematics learning inspiring and empowering for students and ensuring equity in education. Having served as Executive Director of Carnegie Math Pathways for 8 years, Karon is now an advisor to the program. Karon has taught mathematics at the high school, college and university level. She holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity University and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Texas A&M University.

Haley McNamara is Research Associate for Productive Persistence for the Carnegie Math Pathways. In this role, she manages the research, development, and evaluation of the social-psychological interventions integrated into the Pathways' curricula, pedagogy, and professional development programs. She has over a decade of experience supporting high-impact networks and projects that promote equity and inclusion in education, with a focus on mathematics. Haley has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching at Stanford University.
Dan RayOperations DirectorCarnegie Math Pathways
Dan Ray is Operations Director for the Carnegie Math Pathways. In this role, Dan leads the continuous improvement of various administrative and instructional supports for Pathways teams providing guidance, training, and support resources. He works closely with Pathways Faculty Mentors and Administrative Coaches to assist institutions as they implement Pathways courses, expand student access, and share their knowledge and expertise with other network institutions and faculty.

Lisa Savčak is Engagement and Communication Director for the Carnegie Math Pathways. In this role she manages strategic communications and oversees partnerships with Pathways implementing tribal colleges and universities. Previously, Lisa worked in the field of international education and development, managing U.S.-based professional development programs for high school teachers from over 45 countries. Lisa has B.A. in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado and a M.A. in International Studies from the University of Denver.
Brian SulcerLead Web Application DeveloperCarnegie Math Pathways
Brian Sulcer is the Lead Web Application Developer for the Carnegie Math Pathways. He develops and maintains the online systems that comprise the Pathways instructional platform. He has over 26 years of experience in software development in business and academic environments, with an emphasis on building educational software systems. Brian has a B.S. in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University and a M.S. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.
