This Washington Post column details the new book, The College Dropout Scandal, by David Kirp, higher education expert at University of California at Berkeley. The book identifies Statway as one way schools are reducing the dropout rate. Statway students pass college math at nearly four times the rate as students in average two-year remedial courses.
