Lessons Learned from the Carnegie Math Pathways:
Meeting Students’ Mathematical and Socio-Emotional Needs for Success

 

About the Session:
This session will engage participants in curriculum and instructional practices from the Carnegie Math Pathways, a highly effective developmental mathematics program that addresses the socio-emotional as well as mathematical needs of students placed into developmental mathematics in over 90 community colleges in the United States. Lessons learned about key principles and best practices from CMP will be shared and applications to the mathematics education of adult students will be explored.
