Carnegie Math Pathways Implementation Guide

Drawing on lessons learned from our different institutions, members of the NIC hub have been studying, testing, and improving how best to implement the the Carnegie Math Pathways across a wide range of institutional contexts. Based on this work we have developed and Implementation Framework that includes activities and resources that will help your campus team systematically implement the Pathways to best meet the needs of your institution and student population.

The Implementation Framework helps guide teams to:

  • Focus on where to start – defining your target student population and creating an Aim Statement (aka SMART Goal).
  • Identify relevant institutional stakeholders and build institutional teams.
  • Create a strategic timeline to prepare for and scale Statway and/or Quantway at your campus.

In addition to providing this guide, our network offers administrative coaching as an additional support to institutions. We welcome you to start exploring this document with your colleagues and use it to help you as you consider the Carnegie Math Pathways for your institution.
